i'm feeling rather disconnected
like everybody in the whole world is moving forward
and i'm still standing still
like i'm desperate for something new
some new feeling
some new experiance
some new person
or some old person to just suddenly figure me out
and say

i think its pretty cool
in fact you are rather fascinating

i keep reverting to my old ways
reaching for the security of my old things
old habits
old places
old feelings
mostly old thoughts
i need to break free
to become someone new
someone fresh and exciting

who am i kidding
tomorrow will be exactly the same as today
