valentines day is completely ridiculous and totally unnecessary.
showing people you love them
care about them
appreciate them
is great
but you should do it because you want to
because you want them to know
not because some big corporations decided they need another holiday between christmas and easter to make money.
love shouldn't be measured in how much money you spend
how big the box of chocolate
how shiny the jewellery
it almost seems that valetines day has been designed to make single people feel bad about themselves
which is bullshit
wait do i feel this way because thats what i really think?
or because i happen to be alone?
