the sleep of the dead

i am finally home
i left the house at 6:45 am on sunday
and did not return until 4:30 last night.
i then slept for 18 hours.
obviously i needed it
as i only woke up once.

i'm not gonna lie
i got a little choked up several times this weekend
maybe its the memories of when it was me on stage
or maybe just the fact
that these girls i know
and have watched for years
are incredibly amazing
and ridiculously talented.
the good news is that i was a hit all over the place
a total success and that i get to do it all over again
on the 11th
only this time in edmonton
and with longer hours
but what can i say
i thrive on stress
( well sometimes)
also it seems that i will be getting more teaching hours next year
(yay!) i'm too stoked for words!
