so i have recently instated a new policy.
its actually more of a life philosophy.
i'm taking a stand.
i'm declaring it here and now.

it seems that the male of the species (or at least the ones in my area) have gotten it in there heads that its cool to act like a douche. they treat girls, well everybody actually, like shit. like pieces of meat only there for their pleasure. they act as if we should be honored that they even deemed us worthy for there creepy gaze and sleazy attempts to pick us up.

no i don't want you to buy me a drink so you think i owe you something.
no i don't want to dance with you so you can put your dirty little hands all over me and push your other disgusting areas againts me.

no more am i going to stand for this.
no more boys who only want me when they're drunk
or bored
or lonlely
no more waiting by the phone
no more waiting to make plans just in case they call
no more taking me for granted
and abusing the fact that when i care about a person i like to make them happy.
its a two way street buddy. you better start picking up the slack.
no more talking to me like the only part of me worth anything is my ass.
i am intelligent and interesting and friggin hilarious.
