first line

you ran the stop sign. you had your imitaion wof-skin jacket on, your headset was plugged into your ears, and you never even slowed down.



here we are. all mouth. all words and exhalations.



cigarette burns scar the old mahogany dresser on which a mirror swings slowly on rusting hinges.



it hung in the air over the region that summer, like a cloud, rendering the air thick and pearly. suspended spngles of gold dust caught the sun and twinkled, causing a pang of longing.


the discount section of chapters is a dangerous place for me. i had to force myself to choose only four books. it was like choosing your favorite child. it broke my heart to leave them behind. but really
i don't have room for the amount of books i have
let alone more
