like strawberry wine

things have been happening
and happening fast

dance started last week
and i couldn't be more excited
the first week was all i could have asked for
and i feel that i am really coming into my own as a teacher and choreographer

also
it seems i have found myself a boyfriend
i've known him for a bit but we never really hung out or talked
but he spent all of friday night hitting on me as hard as anyone has ever hit on anyone before
too be honest i didn't take him seriously
he had just broken up with his girlfriend
and from all accounts it was a pretty brutal break up
and i am so not down with being the rebound girl
but he definitly made an impression

so saturday the lovely S brought me my forgotten cell phone at work
and informed me that he had not stopped talking about me
all day
so instead of the much anticipated nap i was planning on after work
i headed over to S's house
and i'm still not sure if this was a set up or not
but the bunch of us went for dinner
where he again did his best to convince me that we were ment to be
and i'm not gonna lie
he got to me
not that i am as convinced of our perfectness as he seems to be
seeing as i am a confirmed skeptic who has commitment issues and is not given to trusting people easily
but i do know this
he is a genuinley nice, sweet guy
who really does likes me
and i need to learn to let my walls down

this seems like as good a time as any to take that chance

thats not till march though and before that i am hitting vancouver for a few days of dance and love from the city i can't stop thinking about
