as you can see my current reading tastes swing wildly from classic fiction to currect YA novels. i decided that i needed to get a move on reading all the books i've always ment to - the faulkner, steinbeck,etc - but i keep getting distracted by these fabulous YA books i find on Forever Young Adult. a website i've fallen in love with because they have a sweet valley high drinking game and also hated the end of mockingjay (for real suzanne collins?).
ps. the old man and the sea was on that list somewhere until i accidently ran it through the washing machine. turns out the 'sanitize' setting will completely destroy a paperback . . . who knew?
